Evil Fortune Cookies On ESPN Radio With Colin Cowherd

One of our main internet business sites, www.EvilFortuneCookies.com, was mentioned on ESPN during Colin Cowherd’s radio show.

At the beginning of 2009 we decided to try to get some CHEAP advertising.  We sent out about 20 samples of our funny fortune cookies to various radio and TV shows, along with some magazines and newspapers.  Depending on who we were sending it to changed the press release a little bit.  On some we highlighted the Disabled Veteran Owned Business angle, on some the humor angle, some the food angle and others an “online entrepeneur” angle.

Colin talked about our cookies for about 2 minutes on his show.  Do you have any idea what it would cost for a 2 minute commercial on a popular nationally broadcasted radio show on ESPN?  Would you believe $5.  That is what it cost us to send Colin Cowherd the samples.

We also sent samples to MAXIM magazine, Regis, Oprah, Bob and Tom and some business related magazines.  Hopefully we’ll be posting that they mentioned our Evil Fortune Cookies also.
