Want To Learn A Pay Per Click System?

May 20, 2009 · Filed Under Uncategorized · 3 Comments

We get asked a lot about what we think of the Pay Per Click (PPC) business model.  Our normal answer is “WE LOVE IT”.

For those that don’t know, PPC is where you advertise on websites or search engines and you pay every time somebody clicks on your ad and goes to your website.  The most popular and famous of these services is Google’s Adsense.

I know there are people out there right now saying that free advertising is the best, and they are partly right.  Free advertising is the best return on your investment (not counting your time).  If you can post on a forum and drive traffic to your site and they buy something, you just received a sale from your free advertising.  If you pay to put your ad on Google’s Adsense and somebody clicks on the ad and goes and buys something you’ve still made a sale and a profit, but not as much profit since you have to pay for the click.  You need to advertise.  Here is an advertising saying you may or may not have heard before “Advertising doesn’t cost, it Pays”.

You need to incorporate every type of advertising you can to become successful in any business.  Anything that has a potential to generate a profit is something that needs to be done to make you money.  Your forum post might generate a few sales, but mass advertising is the key to making the big money.

Which would you rather have:

1.   A Free post in a forum that makes you $20 a week

or

2.  An ad running on Adsense that costs you $100 a week, but brings in $500 a week in profit?  Or costs you $1000 a week, but brings in $5000 a week in profit

I hope you said both.

Learning PPC isn’t easy, and it can be expensive.  You need a coach to help you get started and stop you from making some expensive mistakes.  Ebooks are OK to get a basic knowledge from, but don’t bet a lot of money on what you learn from them.

If you want to learn PPC the correct way, then we recommend checking out PPC-Coach.  Just try them for a month and see how it works out.  If you aren’t making a profit just quit.  They cover lots of areas on PPC marketing and should easily save you money on PPC advertising, and probably start making you a lot of money.  Click the banner below to check them out.

Great Ideas, But Need Money To Get Started?

May 4, 2009 · Filed Under Uncategorized · Comment

We have received lots of emails thanking us for the business information that we have posted below on several different ways to start making money on the internet, from ebay to google to myspace, facebook and blogs.  But one thing still seems to slow people down from starting a business, or maybe even stopping them: money.

It’s true that all the businesses mentioned below can be started cheap or free, it’s a lot easier if you start your business with money in the bank.  Money makes things easier.  With money you can pay to advertise more, or pay people to do the things you don’t want to do or don’t know how to do.

With the current economic problems and high unemployment rates the government and other private institutions are trying to help by giving away grant money.  Don’t start thinking you are going to get millions or billions like the banks, but wouldn’t a few thousand help get you started?

Click on the link above and check out this site on getting grants.  This isn’t just some thick book being sold by some loud guy with a question mark jacket on a late night infomercial.  It’s an entire site built around telling you what grants are available, and HELPING YOU GET THEM.

Like everything else we recommend, you can get STARTed CHEAP.  Just a $2.29 shipping fee is all it takes to get started.

Now You Can Make Money On Facebook And MySpace

We have received an amazing amount of email about our recent posts about how people can start making money online with eBay, Google and Blogging.

Lots of people asked us if we knew of any way they could make money just visiting the sites they already visit: MySpace, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other Social Sites.

We searched the internet and tried to find a company that teaches how to make money with one of these sites. We were shocked when we found a company that teaches how to make money from ALL OF THE SITES.

We normally try to find companies that offer FREE TRIALS, but this company is so amazing we are going to recommend it anyway, plus it really is CHEAP!!

Click on the banner in the upper left hand corner of this post to visit the site.  You are going to be shocked when you see all they have to offer, and the incredible low price they are offering it at.

Option 3: Blogging, For Those That Didn’t Like The 2 Options Below

After sorting through more email about the last 2 offers in the posts below (ebay and google) it seems like people were looking for even more ways of starting a home business on their computer.

Ebay isn’t for everyone, but it is where I think the most money is made.  Running ads on Google (mentioned in the previous post) also isn’t for everyone.  Actually, there is probably nothing that is for everyone, except maybe winning the lottery.

I have just found another resource that is offering a free trial on a home based business.  This one is about making money with blogs.  Blogs is the term used for “Web Logs” and you are reading one now.  This is my Blog for StartCheap.com.  All I do is sit in front of my computer and write about things that interest me.   Currently my interest is home based businesses using the computer, so that is what I write about.  I used to have blogs about movies, hockey and the stock market, but I mostly just write for this one now.

Do you think you can write about things that interest you?  Want to make some money doing it?  Click on the banner in the top corner of this post and check out what this company is offering, FOR FREE.

If you don’t like eBay, try Google for $1

We received a lot of positive response about the two programs we mentioned in our previous two posts.  Both of them dealt with ebay.  The first post was about an ebay Business Training System and the second was a source of things to sell on your ebay auctions.  Both of them also came with a FREE TRIAL period that let you take a look at what they have to offer.  Each program targeted different readers, and some found success and useful information with both.

We also received some responses from people that liked the idea of starting a business with a FREE TRIAL period, but didn’t want to work with eBay.  We recommend eBay #1 because of the things we mentioned before, but it’s not perfect for everyone.  Some people don’t want to deal with putting up auctions, dealing with bidder questions and support, dealing with PayPal and non-paying bidders.

We have found a business that will let you get started with Google.  Most people search Google for information, some are looking for the information on where to buy something, or where to find something that solves their current problem.  This is where you come in, give them the information they want, and make a commission doing it.  All you have to do is place ads on Google.  When the searcher clicks your ad and visits the merchant’s sales page and buys you make a commission.  You don’t have to deal with anything else except getting your affiliate commission check.  The merchant handles deliveries, payments and customer service.

Obviously it not that easy.  You have to learn how to write an ad that converts and gets reader to click.  You have to learn how to manage your Google Adwords account.  You have to learn other things here and there.

We have found a service that will help you get started and teach you how to use Google as your “Home Business”.  Like everything else we recommend here, it has to be FREE or CHEAP.  This comes with a FREE TRIAL so you get to see how it works before you decide if you want to pursue this as your business.

Just click on the banner at the top of this post to start your FREE TRIAL.  If you don’t like it, cancel.

Start A Business At Home With Ebay

April 3, 2009 · Filed Under Uncategorized · Comment

One of the most common questions we get here at StartCheap.com is how to start a business cheap, and eBay is one of the most asked about businesses.

We believe that a home eBay business is the best business to start.  One of the hardest problems that any business has is finding customers, and eBay does that for you!

When someone goes to eBay they are probably looking for something to buy!  When someone searches on Google they are usually looking for information.  Who do you want to put your products in front of:  Someone looking to spend money or someone looking for information?

We have found a company that will get you set up with your own ebay business, and it’s better than CHEAP, it’s FREE.  This business gives you tons of information and service and a couple of really good bonus packs you should take a look at.

Just click on the banner at the top of this post and take a look at what they have to offer.
